Terms and Conditions.

We want you to be as happy with our service as we are sure you will be with our product, so please read and understand the following:

Orders received by 10am on working week days (Monday to Friday) and requiring immediate dispatch will usually go out on the same day. This may not always be possible due to our workload but every effort will be made.

If your order does not meet this deadline it will be dispatched the following day and you will be informed of the change.

For normal deliveries our carriers promise a three day service. This will not be the case if you have entered a preferred day or need a 'next day' service. 

If you need your goods urgently, please contact us in advance to agree specific arrangements for your order.  If you pay the priority charge for next-day delivery your order will be delivered the day following dispatch. Goods ordered on a Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched on the next working day (Monday) unless otherwise agreed. 

It is the customer's responsibility to check their order before confirmation.

Delivery Terms & Conditions 

Our couriers do everything they can to get your parcel to you on your preferred date but sometimes this is not possible and a slight delay may occur. If priority delivery charges have been paid these will be refunded.

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm and Saturday morning at a surcharge. Only after these times on your preferred day can an order be classed as 'late'. Please contact us the following working day for an updated schedule. We will inform you if we know of any expected delays or problems.

Deliveries cannot be left unattended without a signature unless you state otherwise. If you agree for the order to be left on your premises or with a neighbour please let us know your instructions in the messages box at check-out.

The Kilted Christmas Tree Company cannot be held responsible for any damage to or theft of the parcel if we have your permission to leave it unattended.

If we miss you at point of delivery a card will be left with the couriers depot number to call. You will then be able to arrange a mutually convenient day for delivery.

It is the customers' responsibility to contact the courier and arrange another delivery day or to agree to have the package left without a signature. No refunds will be given for trees that are left uncollected at depot

However, if you are aware of your second delivery date and are not at home when the Courier attempts to deliver your goods and you have not agreed for the package to be left, the package will be returned to depot. The delivery depot may charge you a call out fee for more than one abortive delivery attempt.

Our delivery charges are straightforward: £17 for an order up to £100, and £28 for an order between £100 and £500. If you want to place an order with a higher value please contact us for terms. All prices are per delivery. Our parcels will be sent via Royal Mail, ANC or Nightfreight.

The Kilted Christmas Tree Company reserve the right to amend all delivery prices and conditions at their discretion and without notice.

If you are aware, or have been made aware of a delivery date and at point of delivery refuse to accept the goods you will be charged for a rejected delivery at a cost of £25.00.  This will be deducted from the card used at the time of placing the order.  

This will not be the case if you refuse delivery due to the goods be broken.

If there is a problem with your order?

Any breakages, shortages and discrepancies with your order must be reported within 24hours of parcel receipt. Refunds may not be possible after this time. If you don't tell us there's a problem we can't put it right!


If you wish to cancel your order, in accordance with the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, we will require notice in writing either by fax, email or writing no less than 7 working days prior to your preferred delivery date. Any money taken from you will be returned within 30 days.

If you cancel your order after this time it may not be possible to stop shipment. Returning the items is the responsibility of the purchaser and you are under an obligation to take reasonable care of the goods. We do not accept responsibility for return carriage. We will, however, endeavour to assist you in any way possible.

We reserve the right to supply substitute goods in the event of us not being able to supply the specific goods ordered. The submitted goods will be of equivalent quality and price to those ordered. We will contact you first if this unlikely event happens. If you are unhappy with the substitute goods The Kilted Christmas Tree Company will meet the return charges.


No returns will be accepted without a returns number provided by The Kilted Christmas Tree Company. 

Standard Terms & Conditions

The Kilted Christmas Tree Company reserves the right to remove and amend products and prices on our website without notice.
